Introduction to Ultra Polymer Products
Ultra high polymer is a thermoplastic engineering plastic with extremely high molecular weight (usually 3 to 6 million). Its molecular chain is extremely long, endowing the material with excellent wear resistance, impact resistance, and self-lubricating properties. Its comprehensive performance far exceeds that of ordinary materials such as polyethylene (PE), nylon (PA), and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), and is known as the "king of plastics".
core features
1. Super abrasion resistance: The abrasion resistance is 7 times that of carbon steel and 4 times that of nylon, making it suitable for high friction environments.
2. Extremely high impact resistance: Even at extreme temperatures ranging from -200 ℃ to+80 ℃, it maintains toughness and is resistant to repeated impacts.
3. Self lubrication: The friction coefficient is extremely low (0.07~0.12), close to PTFE, and can achieve oil-free lubrication operation.
4. Chemical corrosion resistance: stable to acid, alkali, salt and most organic solvents, non absorbent, anti-aging.
5. Lightweight: With a density of only 1g/cm ³, it is about 8 times lighter than metal and easy to install and transport.
6. Biocompatibility: Complies with FDA certification and can be used in the food and medical fields.
Processing and Customization
Ultra high molecular weight polymers can be formed through molding, extrusion, and CNC machining, supporting customized sheets, rods, pipes, and complex shaped parts.
