Forged steel balls have good surface quality, excellent impact resistance, strong toughness, good wear resistance, and are not easily broken or rounded. Using the latest forging and stamping methods, forging machinery is used to apply pressure to metal billets, causing plastic deformation to obtain forgings with certain mechanical properties, shapes, and dimensions.
Through forging, defects such as casting looseness caused by metal during smelting can be eliminated, optimizing the microstructure. At the same time, because it preserves the complete metal flow line, the mechanical properties of forgings generally surpass those of castings made of the same material. To ensure wear resistance for forged steel balls, wear-resistant metal materials must be chosen. Our company independently developed the HM series wear-resistant alloy steel materials, which can be adapted to various models of forged steel balls.
Forged steel balls are highly praised by users for their high cost performance, long service life, no breakage, and integrity of roundness. For example, international mining giants such as Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton, and Anglu Gold all use our company's new materials to forge steel balls.
We compared cast steel balls with our forged steel balls. The results in domestic iron ore plants are very obvious, with reduced wear and no rounding or breakage. Comparison of applications at multiple iron mines shows that compared to traditional cast steel balls, the product has better wear performance and effectively reduces consumable usage.
